How it all began The connection of a lifetime began for me back in 1998, when Arsenal were runners-up to the seemingly indomitable Manchester United. It was their style of play and display of positive football which attracted me to Arsenal and since 1998 the team has been consistent with that philosophy. To me, being a fan of The Arsenal means staying positive in life. The Iceman – Dennis Bergkamp

He possessed jaw dropping technique, but above all he was a leader on the field.  Dennis Bergkamp, Arsenal

Arsenal have had a number of outstanding players who defined the game of football like Tony Adams, Ian Wright , Thierry Henry but the one who impressed me the most was the non-flying Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp. He had the ability to go past his opponents swiftly and possessed jaw dropping technique, but above all he was a leader on the field. Dennis was a player Arsene trusted implicitly and he rose to occasion when needed. My Arsenal XI  David Seaman (GK), Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Ashley Cole, Hector Bellerin, Patrick Viera, Robert Pires, Alexis Sanchez, Freddie Ljungberg, Dennis Bergkamp (C) and Thierry Henry. Arsene Wenger – The Professor

Arsene Wenger joined Arsenal  and immediately made a name for himself by winning the Double in his second season.

Apart from the players on the field, football is also about tactics, management and strategies off the pitch. There have been many strategists in the game such as the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho and Sir Don Revie. Arsenal got their very own tactician in 1996 when Arsene Wenger joined Arsenal  and immediately made a name for himself by winning the Double in his second season.  Wenger managed a number of famous victories but to me, there was nothing like the game in 2004 when Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspurs 5-4 in an away derby. This was one of my favourite  games and was a special moment for all Arsenal fans. Watching them LIVE! Every football fan dreams of watching their favourite club play live. I got my chance to witness history when I watched the F.A Cup final between Arsenal and Aston Villa at Wembley in 2015. We won 4-0, and the feeling was like no other.    Off the pitch the trophy parade after the F.A Cup 2015 win was another great experience. It was a true celebration by the fans and the teams. I had never experienced anything like this back in India or anywhere else, such enthusiasm and dedication for a club by filling the streets of London shouting and screaming the club’s and player’s name. This Season and the road ahead

Wenger could have added two or three players to his forward and central defense which would have given the team a boost

It is always exciting and entertaining to watch Arsenal play, I have been watching the Gunners for a long time now and have seen the best of seasons however this season the team has been inconsistent and not always playing to their potential. Wenger could have added two or three players to his forward and central defense which would have given the team a boost. At times due to lack of pace in one or two positions the team is not able to deliver a consistent result this season. The team is also not able to cope with high pressing games such as when they played Barcelona at the Emirates where the Spanish side were all over them . But it is a simple rule of life that “when life pulls you down all you have to do is get back up” these are tough times for the club but I am sure they will recover and get back to their winning ways!
