The success of the club is all due to its professional management and the commitment of everyone involved with the club including the owners- JSW. The club is doing an excellent job in creating a loyal fan base and that is visible in their home matches, with the much-vaunted West Block Blues at the heart of it all. THE AFC CUP- 2nd LEG, SREE KANTEERAVA STADIUM On 19th October, the club has a chance to create history, by becoming the first club from India to play in the AFC Cup Final. The AFC Cup is Europe’s Europa League equivalent for Asia. It is the third time any Indian side is playing at this stage of the AFC Cup competition, Dempo SC and East Bengal have made it to the semis but could not to make it to the final.
